SEASON Schedule:  Every THIRD Friday of each month, September through May.  Platteville studio 7:00-8:00p.  A new style covered each month.

DANCE STYLES COVERED

Standard or Social: Foxtrot, Waltz, Swing (East and West), and Tango; Bolero (intermediate)

Rhythm or Latin: Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Mambo, Salsa and Merengue

NOTE: To facilitate learning and mastering “lead” and “follow” techniques, partner exchanges will be practiced.

TUITION (no partner necessary)

$ 108/person or $162/couple

Private lessons ($40/hr.) may be scheduled for those persons with varying schedules or upcoming special events.

Attention will be given to correct posture and dance form as well as the subtle directions given by the "Lead." To facilitate learning, the instructor will implement partner changes. Style and technique will be introduced and encouraged later in each session.

Regular street clothes are permissible, but allow yourself room to move comfortably and freely.

Bring an extra pair of clean shoes to wear on the dance floor. Street shoes are not allowed on the studio dance floor.

Ladies, pull your hair back to allow ease of sight and to keep it from swinging into your face or your partner’s while moving.
